I ran a 1/2 marathon last year in 1 hour, 40 minutes and I did a 10 mile race in 70 minutes. Now it’s time to start building towards the goal of a marathon. I’m confident that if I slowed down my pace I could do a marathon now, but I’d like to be at the point where I can run one at my full capacity. That means dedicated training, speed work, and long training runs.
