I started taking Spanish lessons with another friend who has had exposure and can speak some but never studied formally. She wanted to start with a beginner book so that she can make sure she doesn’t skip anything vital, so it’s a bit elementary, but is designed for people who are not looking at Spanish for the first time. Review though it is, it is really helpful. I have started thinking and dreaming in Spanish again without defaulting automatically to Chinese. As long as I keep both studies up simultaneously, they should both be intact in no time!
