This is something I’ve been mulling over lately. I suppose it might tie in with the “job that makes me happy” thing. The plan goes like this:
I’m a member of BookCrossing.com and the UK group, BC-UK. There are lots of people there who are really crafty, they make lovely jewellery and bookmarks and soaps and stuff. there are also lots of local artists all aver the place who are not getting the recognition they deserve.
So I’d love to open up a coffee shop with big sofas and a book corner filled with BookCrossing-registered books (an official OBCZ!) but also with lots of lovely arty crafty things around that people can look at and buy.
I’ve got no money to set up a business. I know nothing about running a business. I know nothing about art. Damn it, I probably can’t even make a decent cup of coffee – I blew up my last coffee machine! But this is a thing I’d really like to have a go at.
