PUERTO RICO BABY!!!
With 2 of my very best friends….2 of my most favorite women. :)

with decisons….yes we’re going….no, maybe next year….oh screw it! Lets go!.....oh I don’t know….
Of course I’d LOVE to hit some exotic locale and lay on a beach with a few girlfriends…but looks like that probably won’t be happening. :( Oh well. C’est La Vie.

BUT
I am going to visit my best friend Genevieve in Dallas this September. Just decided to do it! Haven’t seen her in a while….i need a vacation….what a fab birthday gift for her (i’m going on her birthday weekend)....what the hell?! So i’ve already booked and bought my plane tix and we decided to road trip it down to Austin for the weekend. Oooooh how exciting!!! Can’t wait.

talk is on….for another trip with the gals from work! Woo-Hoo!!! So now the researching begins again….where or where shall we go? We know we want to go in mid August….but whats the destination? We’re thinking Bahamas….Aruba….Mexico…..the decisions are endless!

Just not all too exciting….but I don’t care! I love to travel! My mom is turning 60 in April and the majority of her family live in West Virginia so my Dad is taking her “back home” to celebrate this big momentus birthday with no other than her twin sister. :) So my sister and I (along with my nieces) decided to drive down and spend the big birthday weekend with the birthday girls. Should be a fun trip and I haven’t been to WVA in years! It will be nice to get away and see some of the family again! :)

So the ladies i went to Hawaii with and I have discussed a vacation club. We’re hoping to add a couple more women from work and we’re thinking of going to Aruba or the Bahamas next spring…!!!

So i finally did it!
Went to Maui last month 6 days, 5 nights and let me tell you I fell in love!! Absolutely BEEYOUTEEFULL! Can’t wait to go back. We layed around on the beach and by the pool sipping on cocktails and ice cold beer, went on a sunset boat cruise munching on appetizers and sipping more cocktails, hit a luau, went up 10,000 feet at 2 in the morning to watch the sunrise on Haleakala Crater (House of the Sun) Amazing…every last bit of it! :)

Now the hotel is booked and ready and waiting for us….
19 more days and i’ll be laying on a white sand beach sipping pina coladas!!

Just booked 4 lovely tickets to Hawaii!!

Hawaii is a little more than a month away!!!!
yay!!!

When: First week of May 2007
Where: Maui, Hawaii
How Long: 5-6 Days
Things to do: Luau, Helicopter Ride, Snorkling, Exploring (volcanos, waterfalls, beaches and such)

The only thing we’ve yet to decide on is “where” we will stay.
I.E. hotel, condo, resort.

One thing that has changed that upset me a little bit is when we will be going. At first this was supposed to be a birthday trip, for me (March 11th), Janet (Feb. 7th) and Della (March 21st). But while researching we found out that March is the rainy season….:( so we’ve changed it to May. But thats ok (i guess) as long as i still get to go!
