start my 401K

The advisors were here today and I didn’t have my paperwork! Grrrr…I really need to bring it and stick it in my locker, but first I want my brother-in-law to go over it again. Maybe i’ll take it over this weekend and harrass him. Then on Tuesday I can get the ball roooolllliiiinnnnnggggg.

but i’m putting this off (once again) for a few more months.

I’m going to seriously start it in January….only becuz i have lots of stuff to pay and theres the last of the happy pay day too….so come January i’ll be able to set more $$ aside for the 401K and still have money in the bank for other things…where as if i start now i’ll be totally broke!! :(

I filled out the form….just haven’t brought it into Human Resources yet…la la la…..I will this week. I know the money will be going to a good cause…its just so hard to let go right now! I’m in the middle of paying off 3 CC and my parents, save for my trip to Hawaii in May and fix my car not to mention celebrate my birthday fantastically next month and i’m involved in a Happy Pay Day Savings Plan at work where we pay $100.00 a pay check and on our specified pay day we get $2300.00!!
Yikes!

I’ve worked at my current job for 6 years this past January and haven’t set up my 401K! Think of all that money I could have in there by now! Damn! See what procrastination can do??
I shall show up to work with all my paperwork and head to the Human Resource building and begin! :)
