My husband and I have a combined $93,845.85 in student loans. This may sound like a lot, but it’s actually quite a bit less than it used to be… we went to a Very expensive schools and both had scholarships and grants to boot!
They are spread between 5 loans after being consolidated.
4,823.26 in repayment
5,511.24 in repayment
27,038.34 deferred
56,473.01 deferred (two loans combined)
We have been deferring a few as we pay on others, hoping to be able to pay larger ammounts on the ones in repayment and then do the same with the remaining loans. We’ll see how that works out.
