OK, 4 hours rain and 44 minutes no-rain. Seemingly I still do not realize but I’ve done it. Super.

Tips:
- Run slowly
- Drink often but little
- Try not stop in the second half to keep going
- Protect sensetive parts of the body (nipples!!!) – it is only because I have discovered that Polar heart-rate monitor sensor belt can also be used to protect the nipples I have managed …
For me personally it was great:
- To have a good amount of salt taken after the first half – since drinking and consequently urinating
- Eating sliced bread – keeps the hunger away and fills nicely up
Good luck!!!

I have adopted a small program to get to my target in April.
Essentially it consists in daily runs of 45’ with two days off (mid-week and weekend) and a good long run on Sunday or Saturday. So this morning 11 miles ca. 17k – [done]. God it hurts.

Registration site is here btw after Dec 31 registration fee is EUR 66 instead of EUR 54 – which means I still have a couple of days to think about it.

I’ve already run the half-marathon and I am looking forward to run my first complete one. Maybe in spring?
