I’m surprised I didn’t write about this earlier, but finishing Script Frenzy! Writing 100 pages of scripted material is such an amazing accomplishment. I already registered for NaNoWriMo, in Novemeber and I’ve found out that Water for Elephants, which even if I haven’t read, I’ve heard so much about, started off as a NaNoWriMo novel!
I’m looking forward to NaNo and I’m so pleased that Screnzy went well!

We played volleyball championships yesterday and since three of our players didn’t show up, we only had six people and everyone was playing for the entire time. I didn’t expect to do very well at all, since one of the people who didn’t show up was one of the setters; however, we played better than ever!
We won three of our games, only losing the last one. It was extremely disappointing that we lost the last game, because we’d been at the very top, the very top of the GOLD division, and we’d been playing the team that was seeded at the bottom of the Gold division, so 6th… Not good at all! However, I still feel that we played really well that day and that it was a good volleyball day.

Having Pauline figure out that my group technically did get an “A” on the Rube Goldberg project.
For physics, we completed a Rube Goldberg project and received an 89.3% on it. I’d forgotten that our teacher says 89.0% and up is an “A” and I was complaining about it. Pauline, who isn’t even in our class, happened to remember the grading scale… It made for a slightly more cheerful day.

Reading The Importance of Being Earnest.
I cannot believe that the world has taken so long to introduce me to the works of Oscar Wilde, while reading The Importance of Being Earnest, I was absolutely blown away.

Knowing I had officially made the freshman volleyball team. I mean, even though all the older players said that anyone who tries out for the first level always makes the team, I was really excited to actually be playing a team sport since I’d been doing mostly individual sports before.

Picking classes for next year, which we did today, and learning more about the requirements. I found it very informative and it got me really excited for some reason.

Finding out Lauren didn’t cut her hair for no reason and actually cut it in order to donate it to Locks of Love. It completely restored my faith in that girl.

Finding out my math test score for the conic sections test. I’d been working really hard on catching up with the homework for the past week and when I had finally caught up the test was the very next day and I still needed to study. However, study I did and after our teacher adjusted the scoring for the test to reflect how everyone did (sort of a curve, but not really) and had gotten over 100% on the test.

Winning my first Academic League match. I played on the novice team during their time and I then I played part of the junior varsity match as well, although during the JV match I didn’t really contribute.
However, the novice match went really well and I answered a fair amount of toss-up questions and we won! JV won as well, unfortunately though, varsity lost.

Completing 100 push-ups for my black belt in Tae Kwon Do. For those of you who don’t know, completing 100 push-ups is an excruciatingly painful experience that will leave you sore for days, if not a week or two. I was amazingly proud of myself when I was finished.
