I must confess that I hadn’t considered dreading my hair for over twenty years until Jason Castro graced my tv screen. The most beautiful boy ever! My inner 13 year old girl jumps with delight at the chance to see him on Tuesday/Wednesday evenings and frets each week that he’ll be eliminated if he doesn’t step it up. I suggested dreads to my friend who has the most unruly dry, curly, can’t-do-anything-stylish-with-it hair. I researched all the how-to sites and found tons of photos so that she would give it a try. But instead of convincing her to do it, I’ve convinced myself! I’m going to call for a consultation at the Orbit salon here in Austin (I don’t have enough willing friends to do it on my own and I need extensions).
