So I have started my quest to get the long term job that I desire. I am a veterinary technician by trade and I REALLY would like to get back into that or find a keeper position in a zoo. I am so willing to start from the ground up either way, doesn’t bother me. I just miss working with animals. The keeper position would be awesome because it would allow me to learn new stuff AND I think there would be much more room for advancement and maybe even education(going back to school online or at night). I am willing to relocate as well, so that should help. Right now I am working on getting my resume edited since the last time I used it, and I’m trying to decide on a way to ‘sell’ myself and skills to potential employers. “I wanna make them an offer they can’t refuse…”
Next will be submitting the resume and/or apps to several places I’ve already lined up as well as looking for more places to apply.
BREATHE!!! DEEP BREATHS!!! You can do this! hahahaha…..Yeah, I say as I sit here in my insecure and unsure shoes wondering if anyone is crazy enough to interview me, let alone hire me! :)
