YAY ME. A friend of mine from out of town that i visited for a few days taught me how to start knitting a washcloth! I know it ain’t much, but everybody’s gotta start somewhere! I couldn’t exactly steal their knitting needles though, so I left the unfinished product there. Still, I’m gaining confidence! I think i can do this!

I suddenly developped this crazy urge to learn how to knit when I saw this girl a good year or two younger than me doing crochet on the bus. Now crochet doesn’t interest me, I’m not even sure if i’m spelling it right, but both my mum and my grandma (my mum’s mum) know how and I’ve decided it’s time I learn something new too!
I dream to be able to give everyone on my Christmas/Holiday list next year a personalized scarf each. Some with beads, some with frills, some with ribbons, and all with varied colours and types of wool.
Only when I feel confident in my ability will I at last write this off as done. So far I have two potential “teachers”, so i’m starting with them.
