Ok, so I took the first step this weekend, and went and looked at a new gym. I used to go with my boyfriend to the gym 3-4 times a week, and now I haven’t gone at all in the last 2 months, and I feel like crap, somehow though I have managed to only gain a couple pounds back. I was 141, and I was 128.5 after working out for a bit, now I am 131-132. I would like to be about 115-120. I am 5’7”.
I went into a womens only gym (Shapes) they have a lot of good equipment and offer a lot of neat classes. One draw back is that I will not be able to work out with my boyfriend anymore, so this is less time together during the week. I get out of work at 5, so this means I will get to the gym about 5:15-5:20, get dressed 5:30, work out for an hour so I am done at 6:30, unless there is a later class I am taking. So then if I go tanning I wont be home until 7:15-7:30. That takes up my whole evening. But this is what I want, I want to be the best I can be. I am going for a free trial tonight, work out a bit, then there is a hip hop dance class at 6:30 I am going to take. I think I will start going to the gym around the 10th of Nov. if I like the place.
I will use this as a place to mark down my progress weekly.
