Clouds — 1 week ago
This is picture number two: some of the spectacular clouds that have been in the sky lately. I love just watching the clouds go by.

This is picture one: the memorial garden where the ashes of Granny and Harry are interred. I love to come here, and have always felt connected to Granny and Harry when I spend a little time here.
I’ve joined a spirituality roundtable group at TWC, and I think it will be awesome. There’s an assignment for next month’s session – between now and then, I need to take 24 pictures of things and places that are spiritual for me. It’ll be fun and thought-provoking for me – I can think of some things easily, but to come up with 24 will require a little digging. I’ll post them here, too.
Tomorrow, if I have the energy, I would like to sit in Granny and Harry’s memorial garden with my notebook for a little while. Also, if I still have energy, I will do some gentle yoga.
I went to a session last week at TWC about spirituality. One of the exercises the presenter had us do got me thinking about where I find spirituality for myself. I find it in human connection – listening to others, being listened to; relating to others via common experience and being related to. I use writing and talking as my primary ways of doing this. And attending writer’s group on Monday was definitely a first step toward making more time and room in my life for spiritiuality. Overall, I’ve been writing more, which is great. And going to support group and talking with others or even just listening to them talk about our common experience is another way that I flex my spirtuality muscles. I plan to make MORE room and time in my life for spirituality … but I realized, support group has filled that role somewhat for me, and adding writer’s group to the mix will certainly help me meet this goal.
