After 3 bad weeks, I’m back to meeting this goal again with ease. I love doing yoga.

I forgot to pack the mat and didn’t end up doing any yoga on our CA vacation. Did tons of walking, which is good, but not yoga. I can’t make myself do it today, either. Maybe this evening I will do the relaxation routine.
For the last six weeks, I’ve met this goal … but all of last week, all I did was clean at the house. It was very good exercise, but it wasn’t yoga, which I like for the stretching and mental focus. I need to get back into it! I plan to pack my yoga mat for our vacation.
Week of 5/13-5/19: 4 sessions yoga
I’ve accomplished this goal five weeks in a row, and seven out of the last nine weeks. I love doing yoga, and find it easy and fun to do on my own in my living room. I have a variety of DVD routines now to suit my mood, and that helps. Donald says he notices all kinds of changes in my body, especially in my arms toning up. I have noticed changes too, since I started yoga-ing in March. I’m much closer to really reaching certain poses properly – notably, getting my heels all the way down in downward dog. I look forward to continuing to do yoga.
Week of 4/29-5/5: 3 sessions yoga
I am loving doing yoga. Donald was asking if it relaxes me. Since I usually do it in the morning, it’s not relaxing, but more energizing. It gives me a chance to focus and clear my mind of all the piled-up worries of the previous day and night. I feel more productive when I start the day with yoga. I hope to get myself to a point where I just do it every day, no matter what.
The new yoga DVDs I have are great, and I can’t wait to really get into them. This will be a good yoga week coming up. I did well last week, but I’m glad to have new stuff to work on.
Week of 4/22-4/28: 1 hour yoga, 2 sessions
I did great last week! See?
Week of 4/15-4/21: 2 hours, 15 minutes of yoga, 3 sessions
I’m really enjoying yoga, and I ordering some more DVDs so I’ll have alternate routines to mix up.
If not for vacation, I would have made it this week. I meant to take the DVD to Toronto with us and do the yoga in the hotel room, but I’m kind of glad I didn’t. It was nice to relax a little while.
Week of 4/8-4/14: 55 minutes yoga, 1 session
Whew! I just tried the yoga DVD that came with my yoga kit. I got about 2/3 through before giving up … that thing is NOT for beginners. Now I have a nice warm buzz in my muscles, and I’ll do Sara Ivanhoe’s energizing routine (which is much more my level) to keep from getting too tight. Still … whew! Better shelve that one until I’m really good.
