Send a message in a bottle

Okay so I finally threw my bottle in the ocean! It was in a wine bottle, and I was afraid I was going to get caught walking around with it in my hand, but luckily I made it to the beach.

My best friend and I went once it got really dark out, and we snuck the bottle across all the docks of night time clubbing people, and eventually to the beach where I threw it in and we watched it float away with the current. I wrote an e-mail address in the message, so I’m hoping I get a response, but even if I don’t, it was still worth it!

Why is it so hard to find an excuse to get to the beach and keep out of sight while pelting a giant bottle into the ocean? I can’t seem to manage coming up with a place on the beach that won’t be crowded of people ready to swarm me for “littering” as they’ll guess it is….OR a reason to tell my parents I’m going to the ocean with an empty wine bottle at 7 a.m.

I’ve already got my bottle ready..just need to plan the “sending” part now.

I wrote the message today! Now I’m just going to fold it up, find a bottle to put it in, and throw it into the ocean next time I go to the beach, which hopefully I’ll go next weekend.
