Once I started actually following through with fun ideas for the summer, I found that a spiced up life just came through that. Plus, getting a job really made me use my time wisely with making plans with my friends.
This summer has been filled with nonstop beach days, parties, new people, and late nights, and I really credit myself for finally learning how to be proactive and put my plans into action. And since I’m going to college in less than 2 weeks, I don’t think I have to worry about my life becoming bland again..at least for a long while.

I have WAAAAY too much time on my hand and I find that the busier I am with doing activities I love, the much much happier and satisfied with my life I am.
I wrote down on my calendar for the next 2 months activities that I can do every weekend from kayaking to bike riding to tennis. Even if something gets cancelled, I’ll still try to do it the next weekend or whenever I can. Plus the more you get out..the more people you meet, and now that I’ve basically overcome my shyness, I can really make friends with all these new people.
I think I’ve grown out of the stage of being able to entertain myself for hours at a time. I’m very independent and can do all sorts of fun things on my own, but nowadays, I find that a social life is really an important aspect to a fun and happy and “spiced up” life.

reviving the old me. The old me who wasn’t warped by highschool kids. The kid who’d rather watch the discovery channel than MTV…who’d rather do a science experiment than scope the internet…who’d rather learn higher level math than how to put on makeup.
‘Tis a start.

My life: School, talk to friends, get home, hang out on the computer all day, wish I was doing something productive, run, possibly hang out with friends, homework (ehh..maybe), sleep
A spiced up life: Being a morning person, filling your school day with experiments and activities instead of work, making plans will all sorts of new people, getting home and making something amazing of your talents, going out at night with new people, spend the time before you go to bed drawing an amazing picture or writing an awesome song or writing an adventurous story.
Now the super spiced up life would be the one where you have no idea what’s going to happen next. You spend your days solving mysteries and sneaking around at night with your buddies and climbing through tunnels, etc etc.
I need to stop wasting time..
