By no means do I think Dr. King was a saint. He was obviously very human and flawed. Still, he served and serves as an inspiration to thousands. To me, this is one of the most important things about Dr. King, that he inspired and inspires people to step out of their comfort zones, take risks, and do what they could to implement change. And that is what we must all continue to do (RuthG has an entry which speaks to this).
Another thing I admire about Dr. King is that he became more radical over time, especially regarding the Vietnam War. I respect that very much
