grocery lists 16 months ago

making lists help a ton! hubs and i have been guessing how much we might spend when they total it up. i was only off by 2 dollars last time, totally winging it! i just came across a great idea in flylady forum, which is to jot down price as you go, so you know where you stand. this is a fantastic idea, except last time i kep my list in my phone. maybe ill transcribe it quickly at the store and then subtotal as i go on paper.

got to remember this goal everytime i want to go out to fancy dinner simply because i’m lazy. next step is to develop a system to instantly track and spending and receipts: note book with pocket. moleksin? clean it out daily.

1. buy moleksin and pen.
2. use it

Sub-Goal: Become Financially Aware 2 years ago

This, as many have mentioned, is a very challenging goal. I will start with a babystep that is certainly quite challenging: financial awareness. Often i feel i have no sense of how much money comes and goes, a combination of the head in the clouds and a headless chicken feeling. So my goal is to obtain daily awareness of how much money I REALLY have in my account:checking it online daily is a good start, but a better step is to get to the point where i can go through daily receipts, adjust my quicken files accordindly, and figure out how much money i’ve promised out, not just what’s posted.

There.
A good place to start I think—and a big enough goal in itself.
