Coptic Binding class I took February 8. It was fun to learn. I am going to make more.

I purchased materials and tools for my bookbinding class on Sunday. I’ll be attending the Coptic Bookbinding class at the Center for the Book. I’m excited to learn this.
I like books and thought if I at least learn one type of binding I’ll be all set to make a few custom made work that I can sell online or whatever. I like the traditional one that does use less or no adhesive at all.
As seen on my deviantart.com posting as well. This was inspired by readings about the land, sustainable farming, organics, freshness of food fruits and produce.
Four of my plates are now in display where I work for the whole month. This is not a serious exhibit, it’s a way to get feedback about my work. So far, it’s been positive. Of course, I do have limitless concerns on how I presented it – framing, layout etc… I need to just let that go. For now I am satisfied and content.
Hey! I got this posted. I may need help on the title though. Currently it is “Cafe Wings” and it sounds cheesy. Help!
