much, much harder to do than say, but i’m consciously trying to be more present in my daily experiences and spend less of my focus on dread and anticipation of future events. i haven’t had much problem lately dwelling on the past but being obsessed and/or scared and/or excited about the future is proving a sometime-distraction from enjoying the present more fully.
