He’s a crazy drug/alcoholic/manic addict crazy man. And I see the good person under all the BS. With no where to stay or go I brought him to family dinner on T-Giving Day. My family loved on him, fed him. BF was awesome, had to pick him up from the hospital that morning and scrape him off to look presentable. Crazy stuff. He fell asleep on the couch as mom played the piano. Brought him home with me and he slept for 15 hours. I woke up to find him in the kitchen trying to cook me breakfast. I think that was the sweetest gesture I’ve ever seen…

I finally decided to “technologize responsibly” and purchase a new laptop. I even got one of those new-fangled jump drives. Check me out! Whoop whoop! Whoop whoop! Party over here!

The local office supply store jerked me around for days, constantly assuring me the new system would arrive the next day…that was 7 days ago. I have it now…and not once did I get angry or biotch-y. I treated it like a big joke, laughing alot when I would call the store for status of order. Seemed to ease their concerns about why it took so long for this thing to show up and in the end, they blessed me with free stuff and discounts on media.

I think that counts. I had every right to be upset and complain and I chose to flow versus fight…that is my mantra this week.

A friend and I went out for drinks – I gave the waitress a 50% tip!

after seeing a few old posts on it. I took the toll road and paid for the person’s toll behind me. He was driving fast to catch up to me and he waved and smiled. It made me feel good to make someone smile.
