I don’t know if this daily affirmation thing is for me. I keep wanting to do it… but I basically want to say the same thing everyday: Today is going to be a good day. My life is pretty simple (on purpose), so I don’t have a lot of specifics. Maybe I’m just over simplifying the whole thing.
Anyways: Today I’m planning on having a good day. I’m going to look for opportunities to be happy. I’m going to find things that make me smile.
I moved this weekend. I hate moving: the packing and the unpacking sucks. So I need to be purposefully more mindful today.

I breath in happiness, peace, and love. I breath out sadness, fear, and hate. Today will be filled with positive thoughts and feelings.

I’ve already been keeping track of the positive things that happen during my day… but I started to wonder something. My life has improved since I started looking for the good in a day as the day went by… but what would happen if I started looking for the good before the day went by. What if I just declared it a good day before the fact… what if I was proactive about it. So I’m going to try this out. I’ve been sort of doing it, sort of not, lately. But I’m going to start posting daily affirmations, too.
