Went camping at Rough River Lake (I know, I know…) in Kentucky. It was a lot of fun, and it’s really pretty there. We stayed in my parents RV and took the boat out on the lake and did some water skiing and tubing and the such. Nothing really big or exciting happened, but it was so nice to spend a week just relaxing… and doing nothing! :) Plus I got to cook on an actual campfire most nights… which is a big plus for me.

For a week long camping trip. Should be a lot of fun. We are going to camp next to a lake. It’s not primitive, there will be a shower/bath house and all that, but I think it still counts. Hopefully I’ll get in some good hiking and fishing. :)
Was a lot of fun… just what I needed to help take some of the busy summer stress away!
A friend and I are going camping this Saturday. I’m really looking forward to it. Nothing major. We’re going to set up camp by a small local river in the woods. Drop a few fishing lines, maybe do a little hiking and take some pictures (I just bought a new 35mm SLR). I’m buying steaks to grill and margarita mix. Should be a a great time. I really need some time just to get away from everything and not think about everything else.
Okay, I really need to get out and go camping. Things get too stuffy in my day to day life. I need to get out and do something organic. Go hiking, roast some meat over a fire. Sleep out look at the stars. I used to go a lot in high school… don’t know what happend. I need to get back out there. It would be good for my soul, I think.
