...I’ve regressed some. I’ve let a lot of things slide the last few months because I’ve been so busy with work and starting to build a house. I need to get back on the ball and refocus myself.

This is an all time high for me on this goal. I’m going to create some goals to target specific things so that I can continue to improve. I want to be at 100 by the time I turn 30 (in two years).

Some slight improvements…

I still need to make my bed daily and get an eye exam (I don’t really need one… my vision is fine… but I guess a regular “check up” isn’t a bad idea). I am drinking more water… but still too much sweet tea.

That is my score starting 2009

A few months ago I made a list of a few things on this list that I needed to work on… but I never seemed to get around to it, so I’m relisting them and I’m going to do it!

1. – Get an eye exam

2. – Drink at least 2 liters of water daily. (I’m aiming for a half gallon a day, which is a little more than 2 liters, but easier for me to keep track of.)

3. – Make my bed daily.

4. – Have a financial plan for the next year.

70.... 12 months ago

I’ve apparently fallen behind instead of making progress with this goal… either that, or I’m just grading myself more strictly than I did in the past. Either way, I need to get going. I really feel like (most) of the things on this list are a worth while endeavor.

75... 16 months ago

Well, I’ve had a few improvements. I knew things would move along more slowly from this point, though. I’ve picked four things to work on from the list during the next month, so hopefully I’ll be at 79 on the next entry. :)

1. – Get an eye exam (supposed to have one every two years… I haven’t had one in 6 or 7 years… don’t think I need glasses, though).

2. – Drink at least 2 liters of water daily. (I don’t drink much water, unfortunately… I drink a LOT of tea.)

3. – Make my bed daily. (I don’t make my bed daily… usually only when I’m going to have company over… we’re just so busy, and we don’t have any children… so since it’s just us we don’t get it done usually… probably just three or four times a week at the most.)

4. – Have a financial plan for the next year (I keep pretty close tabs on our money… but I don’t really have a “plan” for next year. So I’m going to setup some small financial goals for the next year and ways to implement them.)

70... 17 months ago

I decided that I was going to take this test monthly, and my score is now 70. I’m already making some improvements, but I have a feeling that some of the remaining improvements may take longer. We’ll see where I’m at next month.

Physical Environment 18 months ago

I’m really working on the physical environment section of the clean sweep right now. I’m really excited at the changes I am already seeing and I believe that if I continue to work on this program that nothing but positive results will come of it.

61.... 19 months ago

That my score. This one is going to be tough but worth it. I’m going to make a list of five things to work on, and once I feel that I have made those become a habit, then I’ll add five more things.

So many needed changes.... 2 years ago

Oh… where to start. I need to change so many things… everything, really. I need to change how I handle my time, my money, my relationships, work… everything. I can’t think of a single thing that I couldn’t use some improvement in. I doubt anyone ever “arrives”, but I need to get further along than I am. It’s not even that everything is bad… it’s just the medioctrity of it all. We only live once. I want to make the most of my life. This program seems pretty well grounded and realistic. Just need to get moving. Wish me luck!
