Being a professional that my income depends on sales achievement, new business is the key to becoming more financially successfull. I find this process to be tiring at times, and energizing at other times.
To be more energizing and to enjoy it better, I find that a soft sell approach works better for me. Unless a person is interested or I can rise their interest I don’t bother to follow up. I don’t push people to do something they don’t want, nor do I pest them. I am always honest and try to accurately portray my product.
When I become pushy my mood changes and hate it. I think it’s propably my moral compass keeping me from inflicting discomfort to others.
I believe that when I meet someone knew I have something usefull to offer or teach and can therefore relax and be myself.
Seing 25 new contacts a month is a good amount of people to keep myself on the right track
