since I am purchasing well over 10% organic right now. I have already spread the message as well, getting my sister and one of my friends to sign up!

my organic consumption has actually dwindled in the past two years. When I lived in Toledo, then Columbus, Ohio I was buying at least 30% organic. Unfortunately, living in Enid, OK and then Minot, ND has been tough as far as organic consumption goes. You would think that in a state that derives 3/4 of it’s revenue from agriculture, finding organics wouldn’t be that hard! And yet, I am probably only purchasing about 10% right now. It’s no small victory though, that my military commissary is carrying organics! I have been able to find an astonishing selection of organics for a military installation. And I pledge to pick them up whenever I can! Hopefully the summer here will bring more farmer’s markets, too.
