know when to walk away

In May 2007, Shampoo started posting about me in her blog again. She’s been quiet since then. The cycle my finally be over.

Shampoo is at it again…posting pesonal jabs, copying things from my website…will she ever go away?

Shampoo seems to have calmed down now, so maybe the cycle is over.

I just noticed that Shampoo thinks this is a good goal too. I don’t know how lashing out for no apparent reason accomplishes that goal, but good luck!

There’s a person I know who has a cycle of hit and run…apologize for past wrongs…get mad and lash out…apologize again…get mad at something didn’t do and lash out again. I think I will call this person “Shampoo” because of the repeating cycle: “Lather, rinse, repeat”. Every time Shampoo throws more mud, I will rinse.

2006 was not my best year, full of selfish actions and regrets. I should have walked away from a toxic friendship, but I didn’t learn that lesson until far too late. I will no longer be “friends” with people that view me as an escape plan. I will not tolerate people who excessively needle, judge or dwell in the past. I am looking forward to a much better 2007.
