finish more knitting projects

Yay! All the stitching together & the weaving in of ends has been done! It actually fits me better than I thought…. WHEN my partner remembers where he put the digital camera, I might even post a photo!

Onto project 2….

Yup. Been so long since I stitched anything together, I managed to sort of ‘do it wrong’ whilst stitching on one sleeve. So that need to be unpicked! Other sleeve is looking good!

All the knitting is finished! I’ve just started stitching it together. Yaaaay!

Just a note: I’m still pretty much a novice knitter. Best thing I’ve knitted so far is a GREAT red beanie with heart sequins for my niece’s birthday. It was a HIT!

To be finished…

1. A cute princess line sweater in rib. Pattern from Stitch ‘n Bitch. I have to finish knitting the 3/4 length sleeves and sew it up. I’m working on this the evenings I’m home ATM.

2. A scarf for Bernard! This has been started, ripped out, started, ripped out…. I just have to MAKE A DECISION about the way it’s going to look & goddam knit it!

3. A wave/beach illusion scarf. The design is my own, after reading about it in Stitch ‘n Bitch, but the tension is too tight (I think! I started this when I was a complete beginner.) I think I need to bite the bullet, frog the garment, & start again with BIGGER needles!

4. A green and black scarf for my nephew. His birthday is in July, so this isn’t urgent – but sadly, time for knitting comes and goes within my busy life, so maybe this should be item TWO to finish! I also have to find 1 of the balls of wool which has disappeared since we got kittens….
