go out on "date nights" with my spouse on a regular basis

Date to a formal dinner party last weekend….was like pulling teeth to get hubby in formal clothes (at the last minute we even had to run to Men’s Wearhouse because I didn’t trust whether his old clothes would fit), but we had a very good time!

The kiddo had his first slumber party, so hubby and I had our first date in a long while. We still played it cheap, and ended up at Skippers on Friday night. It was nice to get a chance to talk without a little voice commenting.

We had a fantastic time at our Gala Event…got all dressed up…I even bought new shoes and a matching handbag for the event! Glad to finally have a real night out for once.

Formal Gala Dinner Event with my hubby as a date! I need to get a nice dress still…running out of time!! Child and dog care has been arranged! Whoopee!

It was nice to be kidless for an evening….some fancy Thai food, a trip to a local bookstore, a trip to the newly opened gourmet beer store, and a quiet evening at home with a movie…it was wonderful…and the kidlet also had a great time with grandpa!

Set for this afternoon and evening…just hubby and I. Now what the heck to do?!? Not used to free time!

We have an option to go to a friend’s party this weekend or a wine and jazz festival being held at the same time…..which should we choose?

to a big gala dinner…fancy dress-up event that is work-related. Just have to get tickets and a nice dress…we have child care lined up! Should be fun!

Had a date for a Valentines lunch….but son came down with the flu, and had so stay home…so scrapped that possibility….bummer. Yet again reschedule!

To make sure I schedule a date with hubby for January even if it is lunch!
