Putting off procrastinating about these next few steps – going through the rest of the files – finding more “stuff” to add – things that need to be copied or scanned or taken to Kinko’s to be “shrunk” to size. It’s an interesting journey – triggering forgotten memories. Onward!

Been pretty “steady” day by day, scanning pictures of Daddy and of his writings – including brochures and mail order packet material that he created. Interesting!
Thought I would be doing the video but I am “sidetracked” with doing a story about my father “Daddy”. What started out to just be an essay written by my mother has expanded into including a lot of my father’s writings which had been saved in his old briefcase and in a plastic box filled with old files. It’s a writing project worth doing. It gives me insight to what he felt was important to “give thought to” and “to express his feelings”. Time to get back to it! Onward!
I keep a list of daily tasks in a small notebook – which I check off as I complete them. One side of the list are the tasks I do each day as a “caregiver” for my mother. I constantly am looking for ways to have more energy to do the tasks on my side of the page. I do get B-12 & B Complex shots each week and I go to the acupuncturist each week, too. I follow the teachings of my “guru” (counselor) to move forward on making changes in my behavior. I am going to separate my major goals into specific “bits” so that I can check off something each day that I’ve done. Starting with today: June 1st – Write a page of narration & set desciption for the video I want to create. Start with 15 minute segments. Household tasks: clean the kitchen floor and porch floor, too.
