I love my old home, I know where every scratch and nick came from. I have been here raising my boys for over ten years now. My house has the same smell, the same air, day in and day out. You know when its been cleaned or when our pain in the behind maltese did an accident in the corner.Its not fancy, but thats okay. My husband and I look at models homes every year, entertain the idea of moving up like the Jones. But it would take ten years to get that feeling back again, that feeling when you walk through the front door. This has been our kids stomping ground, if its broke we fix it, like our old fence the kids love to drive their power wheels through!! I don’t want to scream at them for trashing our perfectly manicured $10,000.00 lawn or chip our italian imported marble floors. Memories last a life time, what you make under those four walls will stay with your kids and you forever. Do I want a fancy house?Yes, someday, the most important thing is family now, all those other things will come later.Who cares about closet space,where are you happy???
