DO IT..DO IT.... 3 years ago

People should keep in mind some of the good films they see and why. PERIOD. Moving, Inspirational, Funny as HELL, etc. not only is it theraputic, but fun and insightful. I take an extremely intellectual and artisitc approach on cinema (not always serious), mainly because it is my comtemplative area of profession….lol..even if it turns out not to be…it is a very passionate hobby of mine….but WHATEVER….I would just like to support those who would like it in this area….CHEERS!!!

~MY TOP 10 LIST FOR 2005~ 3 years ago

I’m listing all the movies that were my favortie in 2005. They were made in either 2003-2005 but in 2005 was when I first watched them….their is no particular order for how much I like them, they are all pretty good movies to see….

Phantom of The Opera

I love this remake. I just love the story and the music. I never saw the original one, but I’ll try to watch it sometime soon…

Million Dollar Baby

This was the most moving film I remember watching. Clint Eastwood is a filmmaking genius, who pours out his different facets of talent in this one.

Closer

This was an extrordinary movie about love and relationships, as it showed each of the main characters strengths and weaknesses in dealing with them. The actors matched their characters very well…

Sin City

Very different. its noir-like tone, and artistically gory scenes were only part of the goods in it. Including the combination of different but well-known actors made the movie one of the most awesome ever!!

House Of Flying Daggers

Besides being visually stunning, I love the drama and the action that this movie had to offer. I watched it over and over.

Amelie

I loved this delicate, charming film. Various little thoughts that everyone thinks at one time or another are told in here. Quirky and amusing, I haven’t seen an American film like it.

I Heart Huckabees

I like the philosophical take in this one. Made me laugh my ass off as well as think about the connection of all things and the meaningless of it…:p

Maria Full Of Grace

I like the realness of this film. It’s sometimes difficult for people to tell stories like this that let people know about the struggles of others with as much impact as this one has.

Eternal Sunshine Of A Spotless Mind

Even though im used to watchin Jim Carrey being “very funny” as a kid, seeing him in a more “serious” role doesn’t seem weird at all. He fits his character like a glove and wears it well. Kate Winslet is superb. I love the imagination of this movie. I can imagine myself falling in love this way…..lol

Love Me If You Dare

I say the French know how to make movies….(of course)..but this one is a good light-hearted one of love and games…everyone should see it whether they like the French or not…lol….

That’s it for 2005…I’m already working on 2006…
