...is to get a penpal. I want to exchange real letters and not emails.

Perhaps I don’t really comprehend the term social. As of today, I have not made any progress in this goal. I love to dance and go out and have a good time but it is difficult for me to initiate conversation (unless the person seems shy or introverted then I become Barbara frickin Walters)and I get nervous around a room full of people my age. Not a problem if they are significantly younger or older. What’s that about?

So I am on Facebook. Yeah who isn’t. But today I sent two friend requests to people I have been waiting to ask me to be a friend. So a little less passive. One step in the right direction. And I also will log on everyday and write a note to someone on my list.
