Buy a motorcycle

I keep thinking about picking up an old shadow or some simple piece of hardware that I can just enjoy riding. I don’t have 13k for a Yamaha FJR, and that’s what I want as my next all out purchase. That’s probably years away though and these beautiful fall days have me all catscratchy.

I miss my bike. It was stolen from my home a little over a year ago. Statefarm reimbursed me a healthy amount for my loss and all the time I had spent on it. Unfortunatly life events took course and I helped my sister buy a car. Pah ;-) I really want a new bike but I am trying to open a coffee shop right now and I can’t afford to divert much if any funding to such a thought. I was born a sports biker and I think thats the way I want to stay. However I am eyeing the FJR because when my wife would ride with me sports suspensions just weren’t built for long distance 2up riding and the FJR just might bring the world together.

Well.. I’ll keep dreaming for now.. I will have another bike though. As Spring creeps further in the itch to ride is horrible.
