To really learn a language takes time and innundation. Our trip to Italy was excellent. I’m glad I put in the time to learn a couple good rows with the language and it paid off well. I will continuing learning as I can. Need to look up some local language groups, that would be excellent.

Heading to Italy May 30th. We should have started our knowledge track earlier. We have a tenuous grasp of the language. I wish we had more time. On top of brain burn from speed studying, we both got ill with allergies this week and that shut a lot of our learning down. If any Italian’s in our path would like to get together for a cafe’ while on our trip it would be neat to meet while we are abroad.

So who gets brainache here? I study lessons in my car and with my wife about 5 out of 7 days. Somewhere near that fifth day I just get so tired of practicing that my head seems to ache during new lessons. A few days later I am refreshed and can continue on at full charge butI deffinitly get burned on materials after continous trialing.

I’ve got a first few levels of Pimsleur, the whole Rosetta stone italian collection and a trip to Italy in 6 or so weeks.
I might not become an expert but I should certainly know how to say a few things. heheh.
