Today on the radio...

I heard the following 5 tips for controlling sugar cravings. I thought I would write them down here as a reminder for myself and for anyone else who might find them helpful:

  1. Decrease salt intake. (Apparently a high salt diet is an indicator of someone with a sugar addiction.)
  2. Don’t overeat. It causes sluggishness and your body seeks sugar for energy.
  3. Don’t stress. The body seeks sugar to soothe. (Easy for them to say!)
  4. Don’t skip meals.
  5. Exercise!


On my way...

I’m working on making better food choices for myself. So far I have done pretty well at no longer eating burgers, fries or fried food. I will use this goal to track other food changes I decide to make.
