4 out of the last 7 days. I’m getting a little lazy I think and losing my focus. Also, I find that sometimes I let too much time go between when I eat something and when I write it down. I need to start thinking of the food diary as part of the meal process. Need to work on that.

For me this is an important goal to getting started with weight loss. I thought keeping a food diary would be very difficult for me because it requires so much focus. But so far I’ve done okay. I started on 9/12/11 and have done it every day since.
No, I haven’t done it perfectly though. On some days I forget and don’t write things down until the end of the day. To be truly effective I need to work on doing this after each meal or snack.
One good thing is that the food diary has been quite revealing. I already knew many of the ways in which I was eating poorly. But the food diary has helped me identify some specific changes I can make.
