See all the films that have won the Best Picture Oscar

What a lovely movie. We saw this one a couple months ago. Walter had seen parts of this movie before but it was his first time all the way through and my first time for any of it. I’m sort of glad I saw it at this age. I think it would have been a different movie for me when I was younger and I might have wished for a different ending. But as it was I loved the movie and the ending. It was romantic, but not over the top.

I haven’t had time for watching movies lately. If that changes I may reactivate this goal.

We saw An American in Paris last month. A really nice movie with beautiful dancing sequences.

I’m making very slow progress on this goal. Slow is fine but I would feel like it’s more achievable if I could do one movie each month.

We saw My Fair Lady last week. What a lovely movie. I would have given it 5 stars except that I found the ending to leave too many questions unanswered. I think it was supposed to be like that, but I just wanted more definition.

I keep forgetting to report on this, but I am slowly making progress. Netflix helps. Saw Shakespeare in Love, Gandhi and Annie Hall in the last few months. I enjoyed all of them but I think Gandhi was my favorite of the three.

We saw this one a couple weeks ago. It’s rather intense, especially at the beginning and very thought provoking.

I finally saw Chicago. What a great movie. I was particularly amazed by the singing and dancing talent of the actors. Well done.

I’ve always wanted to do this. I have seen very few of the movies on the list so I have a long ways to go. I just joined Netflix so that should help me make some progress.
