Well our lease ran out and we’ve decided to go month-to-month. That’s a little scary because the rent is higher and we could get kicked out of our apartment whenver the landlord gets tired of us.
I have to get started on the paperwork end to get ready for home buying and at least investigate if we will be able to afford to do so. In the meantime we went to our first ever open house last weekend. It’s a cute manufactured home and we liked it, but will probably be gone by the time we have our “stuff” together. We are keeping our eyes on new listings.

My husband and I are going to a home buying class tomorrow. We went to one a couple of years ago but of course we need a refresher. Also you get a certificate from attending the class which expires in 2 years I think. The certificate might help us qualify for a low interest home loan.
We have so much to learn about this process, but I would really like to follow through and make this one happen when our lease expires at the end of the summer.

I hope to purge a bunch of stuff before we start looking for a house. It would be best not to move so much junk.
