A Fabulous Destination

Walter and I went to Hawaii in Fall of 2009. What an incredible place. We had a wonderful time despite getting the Swine Flu while we were there. We spent time with lovely friends who showed us some “local only” flavor.

If my finances permitted, I would go every year. Hawaii is amazing.

Someday

I have always wanted to visit Hawaii since I was in fifth grade and wrote a report on that state. Money is super tight though so I don’t see it happening for at least a couple years.

At Christmas I got a lovely card from my good friend David who moved back to his native Hawaii about a year and a half ago. He and his new wife sent out a beautiful photo of themselves with a stunning Hawaiian scenery backdrop. They wrote a note at the bottom for me: “Come visit us!”

Oh we will!
