Pay It Forward! — 4 months ago
I saw a lady running toward the bus stop this morning, the bus sped by without slowing down. I stopped and offered her a ride. She was very appreciative.

Be attentive wherever you are for opportunities to help someone. Perhaps you have an elderly or disabled neighbor who is too proud to ask for help with their yardwork; or maybe you’re in a restaurant and see someone who looks like they could use some kind stranger to pay for their meal. You can change people’s attitudes about the world through your unobtrusive acts of kindness.
Well it happened again in reverse, I got stopped for speeding. The police officer gave me a lecture and a warning.
It was like the movie “Pay it forward.” I feel like if I hadn’t paid for 5 strangers breakfast earlier, I may have gotten an $186.50 ticket.
I went to IHOP for breakfast after sunrise services and I picked up the check for a table of 5 clergymen and women.
Today we are having mega storms. I was going to the store to get a few items and I passed an elderly lady sitting at a bus stop in the rain. She had three bags of groceries. I stopped and asked her if she would accept a ride from me. She said yes, I asked where she lived and it was clear across town. I took her home and she was so grateful. She offered me gas money which I refused. She was my blessing today.
Wow! It happened in reverse . A complete stranger stopped me today and said “Lady you smell so good.” It was obvious he was a homeless person, he touched my heart and never asked me for anything.
Looking for nothing in return…just a smile will do.
