I sold ALL three of my staves- for a tasty sum each, no less! I’m delighted. :) Each found a home with someone who was really really into that ONE item… and I’m delighted that they ended up in the hands of people who will love them.
With the proceeds, I bought some materials for more. (snicker) I guess I’m hopeless… but now I have the crystals to top a couple more, plus the materials to wrap and decor a few others with staghorn or other natural additions.
Very cool.

I just had a NICE offer from a local shop (always cooler than a bigger shop) to take on consignment or buy outright some of the staves I have made. (artistic walking sticks of varying kinds) I am MUCH happier with this particular store and owner than with previous contacts, so plan to go take mine out there this weekend and see how that goes. I could be thrilled with this, because I love making them… it would make me /happy/ to keep them supplied with staves of various kinds (from the D&D play kind to the pagan-ish spiritual kind, to the nature-person eco-friendly walking stick sort! it’s all good! I love making them!)

Of course, still no kiln, so ceramics/pottery is still not happening. (sob) HOWEVER…
I have several projects in the works, including the chance to sell them in about a month and a half. (bounce!)
I have some staffs/staves (your choice how to spell that) that I am working on- some are very pagan-oriented, and some are very ‘new-age’ ish, while others are just your walking/hiking stick type. One is even a ‘cane’ like walking stick… very organic, some with very little decor, and some with a LOT- rancing from crystals, leather, fur, or wire and semi-precious stones. Very fun to work on. I hope I can sell a few to folks who like them. A local store was interested in carrying them on consignment too, which is neat. I just love making them!
I have also been planning progress on the Carousel Horses- they’re mostly carved and ready to foam-fill (for stability) and then I can start the Apoxie-Sculpting of details and filling in defects and such. We’ll have to see how THAT goes! :)
