save money for traveling

The last weekend of August, and all throughout September I will be taking on shifts at my old job (retail) to help out with their big birthday sale and to make an extra $500. I’m hoping that me and my man can afford to take a trip to San Francisco either for Christmas or for a weekend get-away.

1. Portland, 2 comics-related fairs coming up, one in August, one in October
2. The countryside, Wisconsin, where my parents live; to run around in their yard, feed rabbits and chickens, play with dog, sit around a fire pit and drink beer and make s’mores, ...
3. New York, to visit 3 sets of friends
4. Ireland, no city in mind, just somewhere with pubs and castles, is that everywhere? ha ha
5. Savannah, GA, so Max can show me where he went to college and lived for 6 years…
6. Arizona or New Mexico, because we are from the South and the Midwest and have never seen desert
7. European tour, take a month and keep moving…
8. and here in good ol’ Washington: the coast, Snoqualmie Falls, Mt. Rainier, the rainforest, Olympia (visit friends)
