My main resolution for 2010, I resolve to finish my novel by the end of the year.
The one I want to finish is one I’ve been working on since 2005, and over the years I’ve had an on-again, off-again relationship with it. Sometimes I come up with brilliant ideas that motivate me to sit down and churn out 20 pages in a day, other times I won’t come back to it for a good two or three months. It’s seriously time to just sit down and focus.
My original goal was 150 pages (Word, 12pt font, 1.5-space), but I might shoot for 200 to flesh everything out. If I can at least get a first draft completed this year I’ll be happy.
