I took a latin aerobics class last night. We learned a latin/hip hop dance routine. I looked silly in the mirror, but I kept trying to do the steps just like the instructor. I really enjoyed it. I finally got to be a part of the Rhythm Nation…..Watch out Janet!

That’s all I can say. Dancing for me is hard because I, like everyone else, am self-conscious about how I look. I used to say, “Watch people dance and mute the music, they just look like a bunch of crazies!” Now I long to dance, but am shy. I normally dance at clubs after a few drinks. But I want to enjoy it without the liquid encouragement. I just want to dance and not care!!!
