Winter Activities

I’m not going to let the cold weather slow me down. My winter activities plans include ice skating and cross country skiing to aid in my weight lose program.



Gym Rat Fever

I’ve got it. I’ve been going to the gym about every other day now; and I’m starting to love it. I’m also seeing some physical results! I’m going to the beaches of Thailand in October and it has definitely helped motivate me.



Buddy System

I’m going with my husband to his gym every Saturday to at least go once a week. His nagging is enough to make me do twenty minutes on the stationary bike.



Haven't done this either

I haven’t found the drive or ambition to go to the gym.

I went to the gym twice last week and I’ve gone twice this week already. I need to be going at least three times a week in order to see some results.
I’ve been reading Fitness magazine; in it there is a section called How I Lost It. Women from all over the country tell their stories of how they lost the weight. The scary and sobering thing is that it takes at least 6 months to lose the weight. I now see this as a marathon and not a sprint. I need to be in it for the long haul.

I’m off to a good start. I went to the gym today when I could have copped out and gone home to stuff my face with Frosted Flakes. I didn’t tear it up but I broke a sweat.



Sad

I have a gym membership and never go. It is money down the drain. I need to find the motivation to go; not just go, but on a consistent basis.
