buy a digital video camera

My finish my basement project went way over on money, so I haven’t had the cash to purchase the camera. I’m finally getting my budget back under control, however; it looks like I’ll be back in the market for a camera in early November.

I’m looking around for a used Canon GL1. I’ve done some research and it looks like it will do what I want, which is to shoot some digital video for my short film project. I was originally interested in the Canon XL1, but even used they are pretty expensive.
