Thirty-five down, sixty-five to go.

I’ve already seen quite a few on the list, but I’m starting over so that Aaron and I can watch them together.

Last weekend we watched our first movie from the list. We watched Hitchcock’s North by Northwest. I quite like the movie, despite its somewhat dated nature and overly convoluted plot, but Aaron didn’t like it. Oh well. I think Cary Grant is great, the film score by Bernard Herrmann is great, and I still really enjoy the scene with the plane and the cornfield. I think I just have more tolerance for movies that are made simply for enjoyment than Aaron does.
