I took him to the vet the other day because he had a very large and very hard lunp underneath his private parts. I assumed his prostate was swollen, though with his young age was nervous at that possibility.
Fortunatly, and unfortunatly- the Vet told me it was hardened fat. Additionally, the Vet explained that when a dog is supposed to be around 55 pounds and wieghs in at about 70, generally that dog is exceedingly overwieght.
I felt horrible, nonetheless and now am on a new diet for the both of us. Carrots and lowfat kibble for him. And for me????
Still working on my diet….
