I am so excited! I just ran 25 minutes :-D It’s unbelievable, I really didn’t know my body could do that?! lol! I’m loving this. Next mark is 30 minutes, which I hope to achieve within the next week or so.

So I’ve been going steadily, and can now run for 17 minutes at a time. Yeah I know it seems like a small achievement, but hitting the 15 minute mark has really boosted my confidence. It’s all psychological really. You just have to push yourself beyond what you think you can do. I did that, and it’s paying off indeedy ;-)
And still going strong :) I feel much healthier than I have ever felt – can seriously feel the training affecting me in a really good way. I can climb up stairs with much less effort and I have more energy in general. Can’t wait to be able to run continuously, it’s going to be so satisfying to know that I can, and so good for my body!
I decided to embark on a rather ambitious running program. Which has gone surprisingly well, since I managed to run 4 days this week. Exactly where I want to be at, just have to start increasing time and distance slowly over the next two months. This week was all about learning how to run without being significantly disabled the following day, and I have accomplished such a goal :) And I can already feel the difference in that I felt compelled to up the pace, which I will be doing from tomorrow. Week Two, here we go!
I reached my goal weight finally. Not sure when I did because I last weighed myself three months ago or so. I’m positive my medication made me gain weight! Oh well, I am now at 69 kgs – BMI is 21.3. Which is excellent considering it was 25.1 six months ago. I’m back to the weight I was before university.
Now I just need to get fit, should be easier with the extra weight off. Hopefully at least. Let the toning begin ;)
